How to make a really hidden folder?

Do not skip this article if you want to make a really hidden folder. Here really hidden means that you can not reveal it even after using ‘Show hidden files and folders’ check box. Yes! That’s what I’m talking about. Just follow these steps and then you’ll create a really hidden folder!

• Right click the space where you want to create a really hidden folder.
• From the pop up context menu, point to ‘New’ and then click ‘Folder’.

• When it comes to renaming your folder, press backspace key to clear ‘New Folder’.
• Press [Alt] + 0160.
• This will create a whitespace.
• Press [Enter]

So, now you have folder that’s having no name.

• Right click on it again and from the pop up context menu select properties.
• Navigate your way to ‘Customize’ tab by clicking on it.
• Click on the (Change Icon) button.

• From the icon selector box, navigate to a blank icon.

• Press (OK).

That’s it! You now have an invisible icon!

Nobody can see this icon only if you select it!

These sort of folders are really useful if you have some really secret stuff which you want to hide it from everybody. This folder operates as any normal folder.
