Motorola Xoom - is it worth buying?

Well, Looking at both masterpieces of technology, I suppose that the iPad is more glamorous in looks. For instance, the light weight, curvy edges, one button, and all that stuff makes it shine. However, I am right now more concerned in looking at what's inside.

The Motorola Xoom tablet houses the Dual Core 1GHz processor which gives it more power. I cannot remember any android tablet or phone having a dual core processor.
There was once a time when people did now know what was inside their phone and now, everyone is concerned about what type of processor they have in their phone or tablet.

However, the iPad 2 on the other side has same processor which gives it even more power. However, in matter of customization, the android beats the iOS. For instance, the arrival of the new Honeycomb concept in Android gives it endless customization possibilities. The Motorola Xoom tablet also has tabbed web browsing which is really elegant for a tablet pc.

I had my hands on the Motorola Xoom tablet and it was really smooth. However, it is heavier than the iPad and is thicker too. However, being an android developer, I'll be more concerned about the inside technical specs and the overlying operating system.

The new honeycomb concept is really innovative. I'd say that it gives android an entire new look. I was eager to try out some new games but unfortunately, it had none. Since the android tablet market is still young, you should expect games crowding over the android marketplace for tablets, soon.

Also, the Motorola Xoom has 4G technology built in and hence when it comes, you are ready for it!

Apple iPad has its own market already developed. However, Its price may be a big concern for shoppers.

Motorola Xoom 32GB (4G) is available off-contract for £480 while the iPad 2 32 GB(with 3G) from apple is     £579.00.

Well, the price of iPad 2 is a big concern here and hence, I would go straight for the Motorola Xoom!
