4 easy steps to make a call in Skype

1. If you’re using Windows Vista or Windows 7 then press the start key on your keyboard and type ‘skype’. When ‘Skype’ in the above list gets highlighted, press Enter. Alternatively, if you are Windows XP user, then open Start menu, click on All Programs>Skype>Skype.exe.
   
   
   
2. If you’ve never used skype, or if you haven’t checked ‘Sign me in when Skype starts’ then you’ll see a dialog box asking for Skype name and password. Type in your username and password. If both were correct, you should have no problems logging in.
3. Select the contact to whom you wish to call. If your selected contact is online, then a green colored icon with a check mark should appear before it. Alternatively, if you have skype credit, then you can click on ‘Call phones’ tab which is below the contacts list and start entering the phone number of your contact.
4. Press ‘Call’ to start your conversation!
